All Staff Professional Development
This program explores the current evidence base on the health and wellbeing and lived experience of LGBTIQ people. Participants will learn about inclusive practice principles and how to apply these within their organisation.
Rainbow Network Training
Rainbow Network training explores the everyday experiences of young LGBTIQ+ people by hearing their stories and studying evidence-based research. Participants also explore inclusive practice principles and how to apply these within their organisation.
Silver Rainbow Training
The Silver Rainbow LGBTI Aged Care Awareness Training Project is managed by the National LGBTI Health Alliance and is delivered collaboratively with partners across Australia. Funded by the Commonwealth Department of Health, Val's is one of the organisations that delivers the training in Victoria.
LGBTIQ Inclusive Practice for Family Violence Services Training
The HOW2 Program guides participating organisations through a series of practical steps to help them develop and begin to implement a plan for inclusive practice specific to their organisation. It can assist organisations in gaining Rainbow Tick accreditation.
